Kingsley with Zuber Architecture

We were asked by Zuber Architecture to see this project through to completion on site. Our role started with reviewing the tender returns and appointment of the Contractor, continuing with the coordination of the design team, Contractor and subcontractors to make sure the high quality materials and bespoke details were realised to the expectations of the client.

The design by Zuber Architecture proposed the complete transformation of the 1960s Courtyard house in north London, the layout was completely re-planned and only the front and side walls of the original house were retained. We even created additional space beneath the rear of the house taking advantage of the bank the house sits on. The internal courtyard was re-modelled with Skyframe glazing allowing the courtyard to be opened up to the house and becomes a true external room. Flush flooring further reinforces the link between inside and out.

The house was shortlisted for an RIBA award in 2012.
